Top ten tv series
I have to be back to office in the wee hour of the night to ensure the deployment of our latest application is being send over to our client side.
At this time of the night, I have zero intention to look at my codes or do any office work. My mind is totally blank. Well, blank on work. I was already taken my shower and lying on my sofa bed unwinding and happily watching Charmed... when I was asked to come back to office. In this kind of situation, my mind only having images of that 3 sexy hot babes of the series.
Since I can't think and I can't do much now, I might as well write about my top ten lists of "thing" in my life. I know perfectly well that in every stage of my life, I preference and liking differs. So this might be a good way to write down my top ten list of "thing" at this stage of my life.
hm... as a start, the top ten of my favorite tv series (western):
10. Star trek - Enterprise
9. Stargate
8. Early Edition
7. Quantum Leap
6. Ally McBeal
5. MacGyver
4. LA Law
3. The bionic woman
2. Star trek - The Next generation
1. Star trek - The voyager
The above list came as the top ten series that I could remember. I am sure I might have forgotten some other series that I love watching ages ago, but I am pretty happy with the above list. If you notice it, which I am rather surprised is that these series are either sci-fi or law related. Thinking back, my first ambition was to be a astrophysicist and my second ambition was to be a lawyer. I am not quite sure how I ended getting an engineering degree and now working as a software developer, but I guess life is always unpredictable.

American Next Top Model
These gorgeous girls have the face of angels and the devil's figures. They can walk, they can dance and they can steal your soul away man... I like...
After weeks of following the reality show, which is in its season 4, the day finally arrived to see who actually won the top honor. Like many people, I have my favorite. To me, she is sweet, she is hot, she is plain awesome. Although she was a little bit soft spoken (which led her to lose out in the end, I reckon), to me that actually added some charm to her character. Well, I guess when you like someone, you won't see flaws in them.
Thanks to astro, thanks to the multiple repetition of that show on tv, I was able to watch the series without fail each week. Due to work, I always missed the first episode on Monday, then Thursday then Friday and then Saturday. My last chance was on Sunday. I would insist on watching the Sunday's episode before going back to office if I missed all the earlier shows.

work work work
The past few weeks was really hectic. I was really busy doing support work for the airport project that I am involved in. I was so busy and so frustrated that I am not sure whether I can keep on doing what I was doing.
I have been working past midnight almost every day, 7 days a week. So, needless to say I am kind of piss with my current situation.
About one and half years ago, I was given this opportunity to develop a new system for the airport. I took up the responsibility as I needed the career advancement. It was the beginning of a very busy working life for me. I must say the work was very satisfying and fulfilling. However, it has many ups and downs, well mostly down to be exact. I have to deal with design difficulties, operation issues and technical complexity. However, the things that I learnt most were scheduling and resource management. I think these two items were the most difficult things to grasp.
Here I am now, at the final stages of the project. To give up now is a pretty idiotic thing to do I must say. After going through what I've gone through, I have no choice but to stay strong for that extra few miles and pray really hard.
Regardless, as the end of the project approaching, I think I have come to another cross-road in my life. I am really looking forward to the future and what it has installed for me.
